I use TR1 225/50/16 in the front with 8 inch 951 wheels, I had problems with clearance, had to roll the lip on the fenders and there is a slight rubing while trying to make tight turns like when parking. Also changed the ride height, had to increase by about 1/2 inch.
I have not tried the 225/45/16 probably they have a little more clearance.
In the rear 245/45/16 9 inch wheels no problem.
Great dry grip, mine have a 40 treadwear, these do not last too many DEs. The new specs for these tires have a 100 treadwear, probably these will last longer.
Noise not a problem.
Alignment set to:
Camber -2 Front and rear Toe in 5 minutes.
