No amp. As replied thermal switch on radiator, relay and two fuses -one for each fan. On the early 944's there is a balast resitor to run one fan at a slow speed after the engine is stopped. The thermal switch controls when the fan stops.
On the later 944's there is a balast to run the fans at two speeds; medium and high, while driving and one fan at the low speed after the engine is turned off.
What year and what is the actual problem?
