75 minutes on hold with comcast, now time warner and no one picks up. I'll try again today, I don't see anything abut smtp authorization for outgoing mail. Here is what I have:
Using OE6 I go to tools>accounts> properties, General page mail.comcast.net, name=my name, email=myemail@comcast.net; Under Servers Pop3, incoming=mail.comcast.net, outgoing=smtp.comcast.net, account name=myemail@comcast.net
password=********** which is correct; Security Algorithm=3DES; Advanced outgoing=25, incoming=110
I'm ready for a mac or something.
