[Redroc]

Thanks everybody for the brake help!!! I just ordered the stock vented rotors all the way around and Hawk HP+ pads. The car had Super Blue, so I'll be putting in ATE Gold. The PO installed brake cooling ducts from a 968 so I should be set for the track.

I washed the car yesterday and snapped a couple pics. I'll try and post them tonight. The car looks pretty good except the front wheels have a lot of brake dust corrosion. They are not the stock wheels. They are 17" wheels from a 993? I think. I'm guessing that I'll have to blast those and respray. The clear adhesive stone guards are also all spider-webbed. Those will be replaced.

Jsilverman - I had taken my previous track car (Jetta GLX) about as far as it would go. It was fairly quick but I couldn't do much with it in the tight stuff and it even had Autotech's Clubsport suspension. From Nascar Bend to the straight leading to the uphill esses at VIR was especially miserable. I'll try and track you down at VIR. We always end up parking near the gas pumps. Look for a red 944S2, a black WRX, and a silver R32.
