That IS pretty close to 993 money, but I have to agree with jr964, if that is what you want go for it..although $28k is a few thou high in my opinion. Often times asking prices are high because they foresee being talked down. I would say that I would feel comfortable giving $23k-$24k for this car. Above all, it is a Porsche and unless you don't plan on driving it, plan on all the usuals with it. A PPI should reveal how it was driven. Hell, low mileage may mean it was in 10 open road races, 5 driver's Eds, and fifteen autocrosses and now the owner needs to move on to something with more power. Or, it could mean showroom quality thus justifying the high cost. Check the rear sway bar mounts for cracking or replacement, and tire wear on the inside and outer walls from fender wear in cornering.
