Will you be doing anychips for 944S2s that will be raced? (I will be running a 944S2 with SCCA in the Improved Touring ITR class, so that would be a .5 bump in compression, port matching, internal parts optimization, header and free exhaust)
Once the baseline production chip ships I'll be open to modified chips. Actually a race chip is 'easier' to produce because I don't have to worry the car running 89-91 octane gas and blowing a head gasket or burning valves and such. The groundwork for the S2 development is already done, and I have chips ready to test, just need a guinea pig. If I can find one locally it would be ideal as development would proceed much more quickly. It's time consuming to tune remotely. But by the same token it actually allows me to tune better for drivability, as you can't really address that on a dyno. So my tuning is a combination of driver input and dyno numbers and data logs.

Are there guidelines for chipped cars in SCCA? As far as how far you can go with them, or is it just a matter of tuner capability?

Regards,
Russell
