Actually right now, the rave in Europe is the DYNO DYNAMICS DYNO. Which is what I normally use. But it is a long drive fo rme to get there. The Dynapack was closer so I chose it. The Dyno Dynamics I use is a trusted dyno in this area. It gave a dead on reading for my 951.
I wasn't impressed at all with the Dynapack, I think it is a good concept, but have actually heard from many people that they can read between 20-40% low. It turns out it read 10WHP low. Which isn't bad, but it made more sense to see 141whp stock instead of 127 (first run) and 131 (second run). The Dynapack operator could tell it was off. 127whp is what a 944 8v n/a would get. From different dyno charts I have seen from other 944S's they average between 138-141whp, so obviously Porsche overstated the power output of this car 188bhp.
The chip should make the 10whp tomorrow. If it does, you can bet these things will sell like hot cakes. 10whp = $17/HP (chip is $175), you cannot beat that on an N/A car.
