Embryonic Stem cell research is in it's infancy (tasteless pun intended). So yes, zero results as of yet.
Certainly you can see the weakness in that argument.
"We just poured that concrete sidewalk."
"Yes, but you can't walk on it right now, so why waste your time pouring anymore?"
Took a little while to figure out the earth isn't flat too.
