Hi,

Here is my story. I have owned my S2 for almost a year now. I have also owned an 86 turbo for 3 months. This morning I stumbled across a great deal on a 2.7l 8 valve head and picked it up. I kind of did this blindly without really having read what needs to be done. What I did know is that the 2.7l 8 valve head is the only head that will match up to my S2 block without modification. This head will also not require having a custom exhaust manifold fabricated or exhaust or any other custom plumbing for that matter. I could use stock 951 plumbing, exhaust, manifolds and stock 951 exhaust valves. Where things get a tad hazy is pistons, engine/fuel management, stand-alones, engine harness, injectors, turbo choice etc... I may be in over my head, but I am pretty resourceful and do have access to a great tuning shop at decent rates. I can also do some of the more basic work myself. I will be selling my turbo and S2 head to cover the costs of this modification so I do have an initial cushion for funding. Any info. and I mean any would be greatly appreciated. Advice as well as comments would also be appreciated. Thanks for your time.
