Final thoughts:
Put it on an "independent" chassis dyno and spank it through all the gears making sure to bump 8500 in each one with
full telemetry.
Of course the chassis dyno won't make adjustments for drag (body Cd) so the 165 mph claim might go unwarranted but it will sure guarantee that nobody cheats on the 8500 rpm upshifts.
Then, I want the oil dumped and a sample sent to "Blackstone" for analysis so there is some idea of when it may grenade in the future.
I'll bet that the analysis will come back with some high numbers.
That way the potential buyer will also know "the condition" of the engine.
I even have a Blackstone Labs container in which somebody can obtain the oil sample. ( We need "Independent" witnesses to the view the oil sample to validate that it came out of the car in question) No magic acts.
Don't change the oil before the test either. I'd like about 2,500 miles on it. If you do, I want a before and after sample
If the dyno is out of the question I would still like an oil analysis. Anybody here willing to go in on an oil change afterwards?
