Both guns look great. I don't think the 1911 looks 'pimpy'. It looks like a ceremonial/dress gun. Very clean.
The only guns I don't care for are the nickel finish (chrome) ones. Just nasty. Hmmmmmm....come to think of it, I don't care for the new two tone guns that seem to be the latest fashion. I think Kimber started it with their eclipse model, then springfield came out with the 'black stainless'. Now Sig has the Equinox series.....give me a break. Guns are tools for killing, not some god damn fashion statement. (says the man with a closet full of brooks bros shirts.....)
