I used metal bushings through nylon spacers from Lowes w/ new longer bolts to raise my passenger seat to clear an amp. They work great. There is about 3/8" of the hard nylon and then the metal bushing. The nylon won't crack, it will slightly compress but not shatter. I think Razorback's are probably nylon also as I know the source.
