Victim of eBay fraud!
I came home tonight to change my clothes before going out again, and thought I'd check my email... only to find I had about 20 emails with quesitons about handbags...
Turns out that some slimeball has hacked my eBay account, linked it up to their own PayPal account, and started a bunch of 24-hour auctions... 4 of which had already ended.
Frantically, I emailed the potential buyers advising them not to pay for the item if they win the auction because it is a fraudulent listing, emailed all the people asking questions advising them of the same, and attempted to end all the said auctions (25+).
Every time I would end an auction, another one would seemingly automatically start again. What do I do about this? I have sent a few emails to eBay explaining what is going on, but who knows when they'll get around to responding. I don't want people getting ripped off under my name, even though it is obvious that the PayPal account linked to my auctions isn't even mine!
What can I do about this? My name is getting dragged through the mud... before this is over, I might have to resort to suing eBay or something.
