Hello all,
After owning my 911 for a couple of months now I've decided to go to the Ignitor system and do away with the points. I received the ignitor system today and it looked pretty straight forward. The points removal and installation of the ignitor system in the distributor is pretty straight forward.
My question is in looking at the options for the wire attachments, I'm not sure exactly what system I have. I'm wondering about the ballast resistor. Also my coil has a ground wire running from the negative to the fan shroud. There is nothing in the installation that mentions the ground.
I know by searching here the Ignitor system is pretty popular and I hope someone can help me with this problem.
