I recently bought a 99M3 and have never been happier. All 944's have problems they are wonderful cars but are getting old and need work. I suggest if you want anything truly reliable you should save your money and the 924s and buy something newer to play with. In the long run it will not be that much more expensive when you consider your time and fustration. For 15-20k a really nice car that you don't have to worry about awaits
