I'd love to hear what the experts think before I dive in. I have a 1989 944S2 that I will be turning into an SCCA ITR race car this winter. it's had an oil leak since I got it, and I was procrastinating repairing it thinking I'd get to it when I pulled the motor and did all the race prep work.

But now it's leaking in a more aggressive manner, shall we say. It's coming form the upper part of the engine, it appears. Near the front, just over the oil filter.

I know my 911, and have changed avery nut and bolt on it, as well as rebuilding it's motor and restoring the body, but this car scares me, LOL.

Can anyone give me hints before I tear into it? Are there any classic leaks in that area?
