wow that .22 winchester was sweet. grab anything you can from winchester!!! they are out of biz! if you are at garage sale and someone has a winchester any caliber JUMP ON IT! obviously the older the better. do not reblue unless in really really sad shape. original blueing on winchesters is very desireable. any commerative winchester will be going thru the roof especially if NIB/unfired. could not believe what my (3) 1894-1994 100 yr aniv. models were going for and what i had originally paid for them.
winchester 30/30 have been the demise of more deer than any gun ever produced!
i have an original winchester complete M-1 carbine, exact same as what my dad carried in the south pacific. any winchester firearm from the 40's is very collectible.
