Some of my detractors would say that I am too concerned with improvements, with doing what I can do and admitting what I cannot. They say that without putting blame on others and choosing sides, I will have the lonely job of being an achiever in Washington. I have not been very popular with any of my constituents.

I also do not think that a good comeback to "Did you have sex with a gay prostitute?" is "Well, no I did not. I use meth and get massages from gay masseuses. So there!"

Seeing how popular I have become, I can only hope that this time around the Republicans can field a candidate who is a real statesman with charisma, and that the Democrats can bring in somebody with a semblance of direction, and then at least I get a fair fight before winning by a landslide.
