Yeah, I know they can cost a lot.

Jiven, I'm thinking more of a Ford 302, heavier then a LS1, but if I went with a V8, I want something that can be built to rev high, and some of the Ford 302's are already near 7,000RPM stock.

Any suggestions on storing the car? Things to do? I hate to see a 944 stay off the road and not come back, its going to cost a lot to repair everything on the car.(It got hit the DMV parking lot while I was inside the DMV) I do plan on having it driving again in the future, may be a while, I have basicly nothing left to spend on the car right now. I just paid for routine replacement of the engine front end. When I have the money to actualy spend on getting it driving again, I'll post about engine options. I don't foresee it happening this year.

My main concern is protecting as its going to sit for 3-24 months.
