You could just tell the truth, that's what insurance is for. (Supposedly, anyways). If they have a lot of cash, they might just want to sweep this one under the rug, though, and handle it "in house". No civilians were injured/involved.
When I was 14, my dad was just about trading in his slightly massaged 240Z for a new V-12 XKE roadster w/ a 4-speed. I was already enough of a car fanatic to know how a clutch worked, (riding dirt bikes already), but the idea of damaging his new car gives me chills to this day. I used to ask him why I couldn't drive it, he would reply that he "didn't believe in child-abuse, and if I wrecked his car, (he) would have to take a Louisville Slugger to me...."
