If the front has been aligned and the steering wheel displaced because of that alignment, then the alignment was done improperly. If the steering wheel is off because the steering link shaft was removed from the steering rack and put back on improperly indexed then take the steering wheel off (as suggested) and re-align it. If the steering wheel is crooked because the front suspension was removed and not aligned after it was re-installed then get a proper alignment. Note: a "proper alignment" involves the use of a special pointed bolt.
