I am doing other projects to my 1983 and want to keep it "rolling" while the engine is out.

Can the motor be pulled from above?

My thoughts are to loosen the engine supports from the subframe, raise the motor and then separate the supports from the block. The engine is locked up, so if necessary I can remove the intake and head for clearance.

Is this possible or practical?
