I ended up not picking up the 944. It was completely trashed - I wish I had remembered to bring my camera. One of the Massport reps said it had been seized during a drug bust. Shattered windshield, hatch glass and side window. Three flat tires. Where the paint wasn't horribly faded there was surface rust where the paint was peeling. Passenger seat torn up, center console cracked and broken, in fact the whole interior had been exposed to the elements for what seemed like a long while. I got the hood open and found chewed wires, rust everywhere...I couldn't even buy it for the wheels - it had cookie cutters, so I didn't stick around to find out what it sold for. Disappointing to say the least.
