Dying interior carpet?
Hey all..
I just did the belts on a 84 944 today and the owner had a unique question that I couldn't answer straight up for him:
He has tan carpet on the interior, with black door panels, dash, and seats. His question was "How would it look if he dyed the carpet black?" He has tried and tried to remove the stains on his tan carpet with no success (had a battery tray leak + 22 years of use).
He really doesn't want to buy all new carpets, and thought it may work. Any suggestions for dye? Will RIT work? How color fast are we talking?
