I have several Arab friends that I spent 4 years in college with. Several were from Kuwait, some from Iran, and Iraq. These are close friends, like we spent 5 or 6 hours together every day for over 4 years. I do not pretend to know everything about their culture, like how a favorite stop on the way home was the Playboy club in London, yet they wanted to keep their "holy" ways. Some were women. They were very intelligent and explained how they felt about their role in society. In many ways they did not have any problem with the middle eastern "ways". Much like the Amish friends I had. They were getting degrees in engineering, yet they were going back to their community, with horse and buggies. They did not see a problem with this.

I am almost certain that these same people consider the militant Islamists, just plain nuts, and would state something, like, we should just wipe them out. These were rational people, the Islamic fascists are not.

People who do not take this topic seriously, people who would like to play butt darts instead of recognizing how serious the threat is, put the rest of us in mortal danger.
