i have been having this problem ever since i took my s2 to the beach. after i got back she would die after idling for a bit usually at a red light just in time for the green light... i heard a whining coming from the fuel tank area so i assumed it was my fuel pump. so i replaced it and no luck still stalling out and still whining. the fuel filter was replaced only a few months before this began. if anyone has any ideas please let me know...

next problem not as big but still annoying... i replaced my cd player with an in dash dvd with screen ( i was planning on hooking up a camera to the rear for a rear view since i dont have one, but i found out i wont be able to listen to music at the same time so i may sell it if anyone is interested) well anyway after the install all my warning lights on my dash wont go off. once again if anyone has an idea please let me know...

and the latest problem...i had my timing belts replaced not to long ago and within a few months before i went back for the readjustment i started to smell coolant. so when i took it to get the belts readjusted i asked them to "take a look" they called me a few hours later and said it was my water pump and wanted to charge me 1/2 hour of labor for the look and wouldnt readjust my belt. had i known they were gonna charge i wouldve taken it to my friend and had it looked at for free. after a bunch of bs i got them to tighten the belts and went on my way and had my friend take a look he said it was not the water pump but wasnt sure where from. well anyway i wont ever ever go back to them. and for your sake dont take yours there. forgot the name but its off of mason road in katy, tx.
