I HATE stripped bolt heads. I only use sockets and wrenches that are at least middle of the road or better. I don't always require snap on as they are really expensive but if I can't find a quality one any other way, I'll pay the price. Harbor Freight and places like that are great for wire ties or funnels or things that are nonfunctional but if it requires putting stress on it anywhere cheap tools are out for me.... I like my knuckles too much and after you round off a bolt the job will take three times as long and is ten times more frustrating. I'm all for saving money but functional tools are not the place. I'm with Alex...get the good stuff for that one.
