I quit voting in 2000, when a county clerk changed the results of money measure vote...AFTER the polls were closed. This was during a month of May balloting. We have weird laws on money measures. More than 50% of registered voters must approve UNLESS it's a November general election. So, AFTER a money measure had failed, the Multnomah county clerk in Portland purged registered voters who hadn't voted from the list, so the "50% turnout" requirement was met. This is only one example...I don't trust my local Linn County elections clerk either. It's the money measures that I used to consider important. Which Demopublican is in office holds little or no importance to me.
Both parties increase taxes, spending, and regulations. It's only a matter of degrees. No real difference...
