I agree it's a bit of a shame that a bunch of "bleeding heart liberals" had to be voted into office in order to stop the bull-headed obstinance and gluttonous power orgy that has been spewed out of Washington as of late.
If it means I have to tighten my belt for a few years, so be it. Small price to pay in the grand scheme of things so that maybe our children's generation might POSSIBLY have a future.
