Nope, looking from the top of the engine down to the bell housing.
I lay down on my belly on the driver side fender with the hood up looking from the space between the brake booster and the reference sensor plug, down to the bellhousing close to the grounding cables beside the reference sensor mount in the bellhousing hole.
Look sideways from the windshield side down to bellhousing. Take it easy and don't break your neck. It hurts especially on the back.
When putting everything back, it matters because the flywheel is locked and your only reference is the camshaft pulley mark.
