Well i left some things out. I will be working with the guidence of a porsche legend Peter Dawe, he owns a shop called Dawes Motorsports and it country known. So the work doesnt scare me at all. His shop is about a 5 min walk from my shop.

As for the paint, i have painted quite a few cars, so i am sure i can paint it with little trouble. I have fabricated a few clean rooms at our shop too.

Basically is the chassis minus the engine worth 4k?

Also, my intentions are not to restore the car original, but rather convert it to c2 style, nice OEM cup wheels and some performance goodies.
