For me , the first time I knew I was under fire was the first time I was ever afraid in an aircraft.
Getting up the next day, getting ready to launch, knowing the same thing may happen again, was the second time.
So it goes, so it went, though honorable, was unremarkable.
I have a feeling that the veterans of Iraq are going to make a huge impact in the years to come. Let's honor them.
