Not true! I have flown over Edwards a number of times. A couple of winters ago, we were coming home from Mammoth Mountain and asked if we could cut corners. Edwards let us go thru and we passed over the runways that are used for space shuttle landings. There are other restricted air bases out there that you cannot ever get access to though.
