First of all, I never said YOU said you thought that there should be no curtailment of government.

I simply pointed out that your initial, knee jerk response to the overspending in Washington was to pony up more of your tax dollars and "tighten your belt" for the common good. Isn't that what you said?

It isn't my fault that you failed to mention anything about curtailing government spending in your post, you wrote the thing...not me. If you think we should curtail spending first, then I would think that would be your first response...it wasn't.

But while we are on the topic, I'm curious about which pressing problems you think we face today that warrant increased taxes instead of curtailing government spending.
