Thanks to Chris- (i PM'd you) and Jonnyo for your thoughtful text. Various sources tell me 20-30 % off due to theft recovery title. Some tell me to pass on it entirely. This text is from seller-
"It was stolen when the car had 11,000 miles on it. It took 2 years for the vehicle to be recovered and put back on the road. Beverly Hills Porsche Audi dealership inspected it for damage from the theft. The only work they found on the car was maintenance related."
Am concerned that it was missing an entire 2 years- as opposed to 2 weeks... They are asking $48k USD which seems high under the circumstances. The Feb and November Excellence have great 993 articles including fair values- they specify $45k for an excellent '97 C4S . My wife saw it and has been telling me daily to trade my black 87 for it- she's great! Any other ideas on price appreciated.
