Some are, yes...or at least close. A much higher percentage of Dems are socialists...hell some admit it. Only an absolute dolt would claim that dems would spend less than Republicans with complete power to do so.
You need to realize that there are a lot of RINO's in our party. A conservative Republican does not propose these programs.
