Exactly. Those are the choices you make as a seller. You can sell with a reserve, ensuring that you don't let something go for less than you think it's worth. The price you pay for that is eating the fees (and a relist fee) if it doesn't meet what you think it's worth.
If you want to move it out and don't care what it goes for, start the auction at a buck and say "no reserve". Up to you, but I bet you get a bit less that way.
