Rock concerts in general suck now. I used to go all the time back in high school and early college - now they're largely just "stadium" shows. Sorry, but I ain't shelling out a hundred bucks (plus parking, plus food & beer, plus merchandise) just to watch a band I like on a friggin' jumbotron from the nosebleed section of MegaConglomaCorpCo Stadium. . .
Video may have killed the radio star, but overproduction killed rock & roll.
If I catch a band at all it's always at a small club venue or bar. That rules out most "large" bands, but like I said, it simply ain't worth it anymore.
Last one I considered was Dave Matthews Band maybe three years ago. They wanted friggin' $500 for a CHEAP seat (plus parking, plus all the rest). Eff that.
