favourite music dvd for boomers
All right.
Here's what happened. It's a long weekend in Lotus Land and we invited four other couples over at noon (yesterday) with instructions that each should bring their favourite music DVD along.
I had cooked a massive pot of Beef Bourguignon and the drugs of choice were a case of good Pinot Noir and the occasional bong. A regular Big Chill evening in other words. We played everyones DVD back to back and then voted for the best - the only rule being you couldn't vote for the DVD you brought.
The contestants were: (we're all boomers - so no apologies for the selection)
1. Cream - 2005 Royal Albert Hall reunion
2. The Stones - Bridges to Babylon Tour
3. The Band - The Last Waltz (Martin Scorsese)
4. Roy Orbison - Black and White Night
5. The Eagles - Farewell Tour (Melbourne)
6. The George Harrison Memorial Concert at the Royal Albert Hall
(One couple brought two DVD's as they couldn't agree on a favourite.)
Anyway, when the votes were counted, Roy Orbison had won with five votes - and all the others had one vote each.
So which is your favourite music DVD?
