Ahh, I missed the part where EM did 165 MPH while drafting Dave B.'s butt!! Well where's the mystery in that? Ever ride a bike and draft behind another cyclist? The guy in front does all the work and breaks the wind, and you just coast behind him. Notice how cars in Nascar also draft behind each other - conserving fuel? I knew someone once who had a bug who's front end was literally sucked up for about 10 minutes driving behind a semi at speed. He couldn't get off until the the semi slowed down. Hell, back when I raced bicycles, I could do 60 mph drafting behind a semi - that doesn't mean I could do it by myself.

The point is, you could probably do 165 mph in a 90 hp Ford Pinto, assuming the engine could rev high enough, or the transmission was geared high enough, if it were drafting behind another vehicle. Just because the engine can rev to 8500 doesn't prove anything. You need horsepower to achieve high speeds, and I'd like to see this 2.4 be able to pull 165 mph by itself, no drafting, or 30 mph tailwinds.
