So, fellow dutchies, that's a bunch of what keeps me busy these days. I'm quite happy with the results, especially as I never welded or did metal work before... The cramped space in my garage is some challenge, especially when it will have the fresh paint on. That's why I want to do as much of the underside work done before I have it painted.
75 914: Re the driving, yes, I would like to as well, but for that I have some other cars that can satisfy that for now. Actually, I did drive the car home when I bought it. It was quite a shock compared to my Elise
. What amazes me as well is that the car was APK-ed/MOT-ed. The gas lines snapped so easily....
Let us know when you drive the 914, I think it's a very interesting car, especially when fitted with some wider wheels like a 914/6.
Sounds like don't have it for a long time already or?
