If blacks using the term "nigga" is some sort of reclamation of the term borne from years of oppression, why is it that none of the generation of blacks who actually lived through that oppression don't use the term?
The only blacks that I see walking around calling each other nigga are all 35 or less, my generation. I was born in the 1970s and grew up in the 80s. I never saw a segregated bus, school, bathroom, nothing. This is the generation of affirmative action, yet they are trying to act like they are the generation of slavery.
When will we finally move beyond this?
Oh, by the way, for those of you who think it is unenlightened and ignorant to say that all racial slurs should not be used no matter what your race is I say....BS.
