Probably he is afraid of the direction the Country is going in, len...as are more and more domestic and foreign political and military leaders. How many more people do we need telling us that we are in an international world of hurt before the supporters of the current line of action admit it? No one has a solution to the problem and for the administration or the Reps to ask the Dems "What would YOU do?" is disingenuous and misleading. Am I fearful of the current quagmire?
You bet I am. I am tired of all the "Everything is going to be OK" rhetoric of the past few years when anyone with a IQ higher than Alfred E. Newman could see that this was not the case.
Considering the state of the world at the present time, one would be well advised to re-examine their perspective and see if it conforms to reality. I recommend the article in the latest copy of "U.S. News and World Report" (November 27 issue) entitled: "Who Lost Iraq". It is a relatively long article with a timetable of events leading up to the present time. Worth your time.
You see? No name-calling, no insults. Just a recommendation to read an article and get a slightly different perspective on the situation and how it developed.
