Racism is where you pre-judge something simply based on race.
For example, I may not like rap music (actually I do like some rap except for the really hard core stuff...just can't get past every other word being a curse word), but that doesn't make me racist. It just means I don't like rap music.

Exactly right. Disliking a culture, or where a culture has gone isn't racism unless the opinion or dislike is solely race based. If an elderly black man hates black youth culture, that's not racist, nor would it be if an elderly white man thinks the same way.
