Pat is correct, kiddies. Although the PC mongers (some of those who also brought you Ebonics), say it is encourage racist spin on dislike of culture, and that simply is not true.
I knew a Filipino who, back in the Phillippines, ate dog. Many (here in the U.S.), found that quite disgusting. But no one had issue with the man being Filipino, just his culinary tastes.
There's a big difference.
