According to Bruce Anderson's 911 Performance Handbook on page 243, the Engine Code for a US Version '81, '82 and '83 911SC should be 930/16. Research on this board indicates 930/10 is Euro or "Rest of World" engine.
Also, the VIN will be WPOZZZ..... where the ZZZ designated Euro or R.o.W. ("Rest of World.") In addition the 5th to last number in the VIN will be 0 for R.o.W. 911SC or Carrera Coupe, 1 for R.o.W. Turbo Targa, 2 USA 911SC or Carrera Coupe, 4 R.o.W 911SC or Carrera Targa, 5 Turbo Coupe USA and Canada and 911SC or Carrera Cabriolet R.o.W and Japan, 6 Turbo Targa USA and Canada and 911SC or Carrera Targa USA and 7 Turbo Cabriolet USA and Canada and 911SC or Carrera Cabriolet USA.
Obviously, condition dictates price.
