pls help with vlaue of 912

Hi I have am looking at a 912
could you folks help me come up with a price range for this car.. Its a 67, and I think I verified that b/c it has the 5 gauges in the dashboard
I looked at a price guide at the book store today...
it said conditon 5 @ 2800 and condition 4 at 5800

I would say this car is in condition 4 minus or 5 plus plus. using this criteria:

*4 - Fair* - Runs and drives OK but needs work throughout the vehicle. Body shows signs of wear or previous restoration work. Any rust should be minimal and not in any structural areas. Cosmetics, body, and mechanics all need work to some degree.
*5 - Poor* - In need of complete restoration, but is complete and not a rust bucket beyond repair. May or may not run and drive. Not roadworthy

the car was purchased by current owner 1987, was a DD for a while. Went into storage in her garage for at least the last 8 years.. her husband says that running gear is top notch, and went down the road straight and true. The engine runs well (says the owner) but needs the carbs cleaned/rebuilt from sitting. We almost tried to start it up but did not. Owner claims the real value is in the running gear as he said it drove so nice. Air Cleaners in back seat. Seats have very little padding left.

Rust with holes in the forward battery box. Rust Holes in the drivers floor, Rust in the passenger floorboards, no holes but it looks like it will give way at any time, very soft metal. Some bubbling in drivers side rocker along the chrome piece. doors/decklid/trunklidv edges have no visible rust. Wheels have some pitting, I dont have the eye to tell if they are real porsche wheels or re-pros. Tires are getting pretty dryrotted. Paint dusty and dull, but may shine up with some elbow grease.
and now for the PICS! Thanks to pelican parts & community.
