It's definately possible to make the noise go away in two ways on mine. (1) is push the clutch in all the way. (2) is put the engine under load. I really hope it's something as simple as the A/C belt. I may take mine off and try it, it only takes a few minutes to do it. F...it, I need a new belt in the Spring anyway, I'll just cut it and see if it helps.
