For ignition you can use Ford EDIS, it is a cheap,readily available and Megasquirt easily controls it. While I haven't installed my EDIS yet I purchased everything used for less than $100.00. That includes the coil pack,vr sensor,ignition module,wiring pigtails cut from the junk yard and some misc. parts. The only other thing I purchased was a 36-1 wheel to replace the bottom crank pulley.Want to twin plug? No problem add a second ignition coil pack and your done.Custom ignition wires needed but they are available from vendors.
