None escape father time.
-Jack Lalanne is still pretty impressive.
"On his 40th birthday, he swam handcuffed across the Golden Gate Channel towing a 2,000-pound cabin cruiser. At 65, he crossed Lake Okanogo in Japan while pulling 65 rowboats. At 70, he compounded the task by swimming l 1/2 miles across Long Beach (Calif.) Harbor, with his hands tied, towing 70 people in 70 rowboats.
With his 90th birthday on Sept. 26 looming, the birthday boy plans to swim 26 miles underwater from Catalina Island to Long Beach Harbor using air tanks--that is, unless Elaine, Iris wife of 46 years, has something to say about."
-Suzanne Sommers is still smoking at 60, but she's the exception to the rule.
